Based in Washington, D.C., Taylor Velarde plays a critical role in supporting The Aegis Group’s clients through data-driven analysis and strategic research. Working closely with Senior Managing Director Mario Castillo, Taylor provides essential services to both domestic and international clients, covering areas such as administration, communications, public relations, and event coordination. His ability to identify key data points helps clients apply strategic pressure in their engagements with the U.S. Congress and other public policy influencers.

Taylor’s academic background in international affairs, with a focus on security policy from The George Washington University, informs his research and analytical work at Aegis. A recipient of GWU’s prestigious Presidential Scholarship, Taylor is currently furthering his expertise as a graduate student in Security Studies at Angelo State University.

His international experience includes earning a TEFL certificate in Madrid, Spain, where he also taught English, broadening his global perspective and communication skills.
